5/16
I learned how to use Garage Band and how to use loops and I realized that most of the loops in Garage Band, no matter what the style, sound good together.
5/18
I learned more about Garage Band and how to manipulate the loops and produce a good sound to a greater extent.
5/22
I learned how to record my playing into Garage Band. I realized that playing the guitar myself makes it sound pretty bad in Garage Band because I am not a professional and many factors affect my playing while recording.
5/24
I worked on my composition so that it would sound good to my ear and trying to make it sound good in Garage Band which it normally does not because my guitar could be out of tune with the guitar and other loops in Garage Band.
5/29
I worked on my composition so that it would sound pretty good in the real world and as a recording in Garage Band. I am having problems playing well with the metronome in Garage Band and it causes my song to be played fast, but it is too fast for me to play.
6/8
I finalized my composition by adding a few final changes. I am still working on making my song sound good when I record it, but it is getting there. I am sure that I can get the song to sound well in a few more classes.
6/12
I finally got my song recorded. The metronome kept on making me play too fast, so I recorded without it. There are a few slip ups and a weird sound that came from somewhere than my guitar in the recording, but it sounds decent. I also realized that no loop goes well with my recording, so I could not add any without my song sound weird.
